wearing: doily dress - by me! jean jacket - thrifted. sandals - thrifted. tote - rough trade. sunglasses - ray bans clubmasters.
Greenwich Mean Time - the only time! Jash and I took a walk on the wild side and went to check out the meridian... where time begins! Zero hour. Foolishly going on a Sunday (apparently just after a mega race went down in the park) we were bombarded with screaming kids, drunk youth, and tourists (our favourite). We managed to have an enjoyable time considering the circumstances.
The view from up top the hill is quite awe-inspiring. I'm sure it would be mind blowing on a clear day! Jash's favourite part was arguably the hills covered in black berry bushes. To get there, we took the Thames Clipper which at full speed was a terrifyingly fast water craft. Luckily we arrived in one piece... although the trip was not short of ridiculous children one of which kept singing "there's a buggie" over and over. The one scene maker that took the cake was the little thrashing girl trying to get away from her caretaker. The poor woman was being shouted at by a four year old with quite a mouth - "Let go of me, COW. You're not my mum!"
Anyone else being a tourist in their own city?
