It has been ages! I have an arsenal of stock piled photographs from the past month but have been too busy to unleash them upon the internets... (blogosphere?) Over Canadian Thanksgiving weekend I made a trek out to my old stomping grounds - Lac La Biche. We packed our trunk with delicious treats and a plethora of outfit changes. I think my family have resigned to the fact that I'm borderline weird.
Wearing: Suede skirt - vintage. Peasant blouse - vintage. Suede boots - my mums. Tights - american apparel. Hat - escada. Black leather clutch - vintage. Tapestry purse - The Hudsons Bay Vintage. Velvet floral patterned blazer - vintage.
First stop - The Lake. It was algae city, as if someone had dropped turquoise and grey paint straight into the water. The old dock was beyond run down and a beaver is now calling it home. On Canada Day they used to shoot fireworks off of it, I do not believe that happens anymore. I was very disappointed to see such an asset to the town under-utilised and unkempt.
Did everyone else have a fantastic Thanksgiving?
