The lovely Miss Robin (who has recently become a Edmonton Journal columnist
!) and I took a walk in the river valley. I have very few nice things to say about Edmonton but its abundance of nature in the heart of the city is one feature I appreciate deeply. Channeling the spirit of Courtney Love in the mid 90s, my newest personal photographer captured my teen angst essence in the woods.
My mink dream coat was recently gifted to me by my lovely grandma. Her initials, a dainty KK are sewn onto the lining and it makes me long for a time when people cherished their clothing. Whatever happened to the idea of lifelong purchases and not this bizarro need to mass consume? I try hard to abstain from high street purchases - I bought tights from H&M last July, it doesn't happen often. The gummy bear necklace is the second special item. It is the last intact one my sister and I have from our childhood. Paranoia wear, I cautiously wore it well.
