If you turn off the 29 Palms highway in between the most amazing antique stores, a winding path will lead you to the old west. Pioneertown, once used as a set, is a western village full of character and quirky accents. My love of four-eyed cacti was born here thanks to my new best cactus friend.
My perfect desert outfit always involves cut off's but when paired with a poncho and some moc's, the experience is elevated to another level. Having a drink at the famous Pappy & Harriet's would have been the perfect finish to this day, unfortunately we were through town on a day they were closed. All the more reason to visit again soon.
